We are looking for a consultant in global health and anti-corruption!

Transparency International is the world’s leading independent anti-corruption organisation. We work globally towards ensuring a world where people’s lives, government, business and society are free from corruption. A world where, the health of our institutions is enhanced so they can better support the people they are intended for; a world where we can trust the integrity of those in authority and in business, and a world where there is no impunity for the corrupt at home or abroad.

Transparency International Global Health (TI-GH)’s mission is to build resilient sustainable and gender sensitive health systems, which ultimately improve health outcomes for all.

TI-GH brings unparalleled expertise in applying transparency, and accountability solutions to address global health problems. We effectively combine knowledge of how health systems work with our deep, global evidence base and specialist anti-corruption research to develop context-specific policy solutions, tools and practical recommendations.

With COVID-19 having demonstrated how corruption and lack of transparency in health can mean the difference between life and death for the public and health workers alike, we’re working to ensure that anti-corruption and transparency measures are embedded into health systems, at global, national and regional levels. With support from the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs (SMFA), the Transparency International Global Health Programme is working with TI Sweden to ensure that the ongoing COVID-19 Vaccine rollout is free from corruption. We are working with TI’s chapters in Uganda and Zambia to ensure that the vaccine rollout is conducted in an equitable and transparent manner.

To assist us in making the case, we are looking for a consultant Advocacy advisor to work with us, to ensure that the global health community uses lessons learned from the pandemic and places transparency and anti-corruption at the heart of health systems decision making.
